Before the foundation, there was a vision

Building their dream home, these clients reached out to us before construction even began. They had a vision for their 1-acre property but they weren’t sure how to pull all the elements together into a cohesive outdoor space. With a keen eye for detail as the interior decorator for her own home, our client wanted an elegant, modern farmhouse-inspired landscape that was beautiful and great for entertaining.

From drainage woes to dreamy views

We collaborated closely with the client, designing and building a stunning outdoor retreat that included a 16’ x 16’ pool, a custom water feature, elegant lighting and a fireplace fit for cozy nights with friends and family. Our team addressed significant drainage challenges, using strategic tiling to ensure the space stayed dry and functional. From the layout to the sightlines, we brought the entire property together with a seamless, thoughtful design. We continue to handle their seasonal maintenance, keeping everything looking its best year after year.

Seven years later, the clients are still enjoying their outdoor haven. Now semi-retired, they spend much of their time outside, whether relaxing by the pool or hosting family and friends — especially their grandkids. The space has become a cherished retreat, turning their beautiful house into a true home.

"Adrian and I were building a new home 7 years ago in Lincoln and we called on brothers Steve and Ryan of Nature’s Own to create a design that would compliment our new build. We wanted gardens that were low maintenance but yet looked beautiful through the different seasons and also gave us some privacy! Ryan and Steve understood the architecture of the hardscape and the accent lighting and how it would beautifully accent our gardens and new build! It really was the finishing touch to making our house a home!
